Maggie Taylor to juror the 5th installment Of Memory, Bone and Myth, National Photography Exhibition at the University of North Dakota’s Department of Art & Design.
Currently accepting work with the theme Shelters.
SHELTERS: Whether it’s homemade, nature-made, diagrams, ideas and plans for a potential, photographs/paintings of your own, in the woods, in the city, underground, above ground, for humans, for beavers, about, concerning around, apparently about, blatantly about, or simply three sticks leaning against a down tree to create a shelter, lets see it. Submissions are only considered it they are somehow related to the topic. If it is questionably ‘about’ the topic, convince us.

For this exhibition, juror Robin Rice will select up to 25 images for display in the main gallery, and up to an additional 35 to be included in the online gallery. All images will be reproduced in an exhibition catalogue available for purchase. A Juror’s Choice and Director’s Choice will also be announced and will receive a free copy of the catalogue. Fee: $20 for up to 10 images
Eligibility: College level students including those in community type classes. Please provide a scan of
your school id card or course enrollment invoice. Only current students will be accepted.
Submission Format: Submit entries via email. Include your artist statement and 10 images as one PDF le under
10MG in size. Include in the subject heading your rst and last name.

1) All accepted work must arrive in San Antonio by February 24, 2014. Ship/deliver to:
1906 S. Flores, San Antonio, Texas 78204. Please include the word Photohive on the label.
2) All work must be framed in a professional manner and ready to hang. We reserve the right
to refuse work if it does not meet these standards. Benavides Framing in San Antonio is
willing to assist students in providing low cost custom framing and matting. Prints must arrive
to the frame shop by February 17th to participate in this oer.
3) Include return postage for prints to be shipped back to you when the exhibition concludes
in February 2015. Prints WITHOUT postage will NOT be returned. Prints will be returned in the
container in which they were received. No packing peanuts.

This year’s juror is Gabriel Ritter, The Nancy and Tim Hanley Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art, he assumed the role at the Dallas Museum of Art in May 2012.
