Congratulations to Rachael Banks for having her series Between Home and Here featured on Creative Boom (published December 24, 2014).

From Rachael’s artist statement: “In my physical passage to the place of a difficult past, I document and recreate a time that is present and unwavering.”

Rachael received her Bachelor of Arts degree in photography and painting at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY and is currently an MFA Candidate in Visual Arts, Photography Concentration at Texas Woman’s University.

Dealing with digital processes and relationships between the past and present, Appleton’s works on view use publicly submitted images and the breakdown of photographic digital code.

Kalee received a BFA in Photography from Texas Tech University in 2005 and an MFA in Visual Arts, Photography Concentration from Texas Woman’s University in 2014.
