Amblewood Gallery is located in the heart of Serenbe, a progressive community connected to nature and the arts just south of Atlanta, Georgia. The community of Serenbe has been featured in The Smithsonian Magazine, The New York Times, Southern Living, Garden and Guns, and many more publications. Serenbe is built on the arts, love of nature, and a sense for sustainability. We have an enthusiastic group of collectors and clients locally. The Open: 2015 Exhibition will also coincide with the 2015 Atlanta Celebrates Photography festival. Amblewood Gallery is one of 120 participating venues. About the Juror
Anne Berry is a photographic artist from Atlanta, Georgia. Anne’s continuing long-term project, Behind Glass, depicts primates in captivity, but the photographs are not about the environment but about the essence of the animals. Anne believes that photography contains the power to evoke empathy and that caring motivates action. Her work is currently featured in Gente di Fotografia (Italy) and has also been published in Photoworld (China), F-Stop Magazine, Slate Magazine/Behold, Shots Magazine, Photo District News, The Portfolio Review, CNN Photos, and Black + White. Anne is a PhotoLucida Critical Mass 2012 and 2013 Top 50 and a 2014 Clarence John Laughlin Award finalist and Honorable Mention. She is represented by the Catherine Couturier Gallery in Houston. Her work is held in the permanent collections of the Lamar Dodd Art Center at LaGrange College and the Center for Fine Art Photography.

Notification of Acceptance
All applicants will be notified by email on September 29, 2015. A list of accepted artists will be posted on Amblewood Gallery website.
Accepted Photographs for Exhibition
All images chosen for the exhibition will be printed through Amblewood Gallery by a professional printer using archival pigment ink and dry mounted for the exhibition. This greatly simplifies logistics and cost for the entrant. The maximum height and/or width will not exceed 20 inches. Exhibition prints will be kept on file for up to a year for future promotion unless the photographer prefers some other arrangement.
We print images up to 20 inches to maximize impact at the exhibition. The process is easy:
Save your file at 300dpi. Save as JPG maximum quality, file size less than 20MB.
Email the file to Amblewood Gallery (email@example.com). Write “print service and [your name]” in the subject line of your email.
Specify the size you’d like your image printed, up to 20 inches on longest side, or let Amblewood Gallery choose the size.
Amblewood Gallery will email you a PayPal invoice for $35 for printing and mounting.
Promptly send payment for the invoice so we can print, mount, and hang your image in time for the show.
After the exhibit, all prints remain available for viewing at the gallery. At your request, we can ship the print to you after the show has concluded. Simply send an email to carla@amblewoodgallery within 7 days of exhibition closing. Write “shipping and [your name]” in the subject line of your email. Shipping costs vary by state and country. A Paypal invoice will be emailed to you accordingly.
Sales and Commission
All work accepted for gallery exhibition will be for sale unless otherwise noted by the artist. Amblewood Gallery will retain a 35% commission on the sale of any work. Sale proceeds will be paid to the artist within 30 days of the close of the show.
