Our annual portraits exhibition brings artists from around the globe into the spotlight. A portrait is a visual representation that portrays the likeness of a person, place, animal, or object. All capture types and photographic processes welcome. All capture types and photographic processes are eligible to submit.Juror | Martha Schneider
Martha Schneider is the owner and director of Schneider Gallery, Chicago. She studied at the University of Buenos Aires (Art History – 20th century) and came to the USA in 1964. She worked for 5 years at the Photo Department of the Art Institute of Chicago. Schneider founded the Schneider Gallery in 1982 and has been exclusively showing photography since 1989. She has reviewed at FotoFest in Houston, Photolucida in Seattle, SPE in Chicago and numerous other local and national fairs. She has plans to close the gallery by the end of this year to dedicate herself to being a full time consultant and private dealer.
