Congratulations to Texas Woman’s University Alumna Sheryl Anaya for inclusion in the exhibition, Tales Neither True Nor False, at 500X Gallery in Dallas, TX. The exhibition will be on view January 10 – February 1, 2015.
Sheryl completed her BFA in Photography and Sculpture at Texas Woman’s University in 2013. She is currently a Member of 500x Gallery and the Editorial Assistant for Light Leaked, an online photography journal.

Tales Neither True Nor False presents narrative inquiries into the ambiguous nature of identity, transformation, intuition, memories and intimacy. This exhibition features work by Sheryl Anaya, Jessica Fuentes, Laura Garcia and M. Kate Helmes through a collection of autobiographical accounts, performance and fabricated realities. Each artist draws on their personal experience as mentor, educator, and nurturer to inform their work.
